If you would like to execute other operations on the platform, Broadcaster is a better choice. Gamecaster gives you better overlay support and better in-game integrations.

If you are not careful you can cause echo by having the ‘listen to’ ticked in sound card properties but with some faffing about you eventually find it, would be nice if these could be configured within the Xsplit settings.As for living streaming platforms, XSplit and OBS are highly recommended.
The only subjective criticism I have is the audio settings can get confusing when using 1 source from a mixer to multiple scenes.
I’m using Elgato HD 60 cards now that work well when not installing the Elgato software just plug the cards in with default drivers and they work well. Only ever had hangs or crashes due to external capture cards being configured incorrectly. Great user interface and features, works flawlessly with a Elgato Stream Deck! Xsplit works very well with YouTube, Wowza and Twitch. Just built a desktop with an 8th Gen i5 processor and it handles both 720 & 1080 smoothly with no issues at all.
I’ve tried the rest and stuck with the best!īeen using Xsplit for nearly 3 years now and I love it, until recently I've been using an i7 laptop which struggled wth 720p streaming. We are in fact looking at our refund/cancellation policy including providing pro-rata cancellation so you are effectively only charged up until the period that you cancel. If you go to their website to try and cancel this subscription the login for existing members is difficult to find, and then accessing the area in the members area where a subscription can be canceled is also difficult to find. If you go to their website it's clear that this is a common issue because their FAQ proudly states "If You do not cancel Your recurring payment subscription before a Renewal Date, You are not entitled to a refund for the recurring payment charged to Your credit/debit card or Paypal account on that Renewal Date. This company sends no e-mails before they renew a subscription, so if it's something you used a few times and forgot about - good luck figuring out why you're being charged by yet another company (Xsolla!) for a subscription.
